Community First Bank would like to make you aware of an unusual type of scam involving parking tickets. If you ever find what looks like a parking ticket stuck under your windshield wiper, it’s wise to take a moment to examine it. While it may seem legitimate at first glance, scammers are increasingly using fake parking tickets to steal personal or financial information.
We have been made aware of customers receiving phone calls in which the caller claims to be from Community First Bank’s Fraud Department. CFB does have a Fraud Center that will contact you if there is potential fraud on your card, and we will never ask for specific personal or account information (including account numbers, names and passwords).
