Community First Bank (CFB) Board Appoints New Member, Honors Years of Service

Boscobel, WI (March 22, 2023) – Dan Klahn is pleased to announce that Kevin Raisbeck, EVP/Chief Lending and Business Development Officer, has been elected to the Community First Bank Board of Directors. Kevin is replacing Gary Wegner who is retiring after 17 years of dedicated service.

Kevin has 16 years of banking experience. He began his banking career in Platteville, WI as a Commercial and Ag Banker with another local community bank, and in 2009 became their Market President. In 2016, he joined American Bank & Trust as President & CEO; the Bank merged with MidWestOne in 2019. He joined the team at CFB in 2020, and oversees all Business, Retail, Mortgage, and Wealth Management personnel. Prior to banking, he spent nine years as instructor in the Farm Business and Production Management program at Southwest Technical College.

Kevin resides locally with his wife Cheryl in Lancaster, WI. Cheryl has been teaching third grade at St. Clement School in Lancaster for the past 22 years. Daughter Jenna is a recent graduate of UW-Platteville and works as Credit Analyst at CFB. Son Cole is a Junior at Winona State University, working towards a major in Business Finance. Their youngest son, Connor, is a junior at Lancaster High School.

Kevin is a 1994 graduate of Cassville High School, a 1996 graduate of Southwest Tech (Associate Degree– Agri-Business), and a 2008 graduate of Upper Iowa University (Bachelor’s Degree–Business Administration). Kevin is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He will graduate with the class of 2023 this August.
